Kaydon Stanzione, Inventor

Mr. Stanzione is well recognized for his patents, inventions, and contributions to the aerospace and telecommunications industries. He is a former flight test engineer and pilot with experience in US and NATO defense airborne platforms, avionics, and weapon systems. As a former football player and coach, he applied his inventions to preventing, minimizing, and detecting TBI, body trauma, and concussions. He has received numerous awards including the U.S. Space Shuttle Award, U.S. Congressional Award for Homeland Security, and Boeing Engineering Excellence. He is the longest standing author for Aerospace Engineering published by Encyclopedia Britannica and has authored and co-authored over 150 books and publications.


John Kelley, Business Manager

Mr. Kelley has a 40-year background in financial and business management. He served as President of the New York Futures Exchange, a subsidiary of the New York Stock Exchange and later formed J.F. Kelley and Company, a member firm of the New York Futures Exchange. He later served as President of the Chase Manhattan Futures Corporation, a global futures brokerage firm and wholly owned subsidiary of the Chase Manhattan Bank. He remained in that capacity at Chase for 8 years, building the firm to a prominent global presence and member of 9 international futures exchanges. He left to become a founding principal in a publicly traded medical device company that developed and licensed an array of retractable medical needles to protect healthcare professionals from accidental needle sticks and potential infection from pathogens such as HIV and hepatitis C. The company was later acquired and the technology is the safety standard in medical needles today. John is responsible for implementing strategies and programs that assist all individuals at risk of traumatic injuries that reduce cognitive decision-making and quality of life.


Eric Pihl, Business Partnerships

Mr. Pihl graduated from the US Naval Academy where he lettered in football. He's a veteran of Somalia, Iraq and Afghanistan. He's flown in combat missions and had the honor as a naval aviator to work for the Navy SEALs as its Mission Support Center Officer-in-Charge from 2007-2010 where he led a staff of 60+ individuals in reach-back daily support of SEAL operations in five of the top seven GWOT strategic priorities. He also had tours with Special Operations Command Central Command in support of unmanned vehicles and Special Operations Command Southern Command where he stood up its Science and Technology Department. As a former collegiate football player and veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, Mr. Pihl knows the impact of traumatic brain injuries. He has law degree from the University of San Diego Law School, has served as a MSNBC Military Analyst and has a wife and one son.


Dr. Robert Pihl, TBI Clinical Leader

Dr. Pihl is a world-renowned expert in the areas of neuropsychology and neuropharmacology. For 30 years, he serves as a tenured professor of Psychology and Psychiatry at McGill University, Montreal, Canada which is one of the prestigious worldwide academic institutions in the field. . Prior to this position he served on the staff at Harvard University for 6 years. Dr. Peterson’s discovers in identifying Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), also known as intracranial injury, has been paramount to helping thousands of people improve the quality of their lives after an accident. His investigations in the area of brain function severity extend to trauma experienced anywhere on the human body. He has authored more than thirty scientific papers, as well as a recent critically-praised book. Dr. Peterson serves on the Review and Editorial Boards of several major industry organizations including Neuropsychologia, Behavioral and Brain Sciences, Journal of Neuroscience and Behavioral Health, and Psychological Science. He also serves as an expert reviewer for publishing houses MIT Press and Academic Press. For his expertise in the field, he is frequently an invited lecturer and serves as an Expert Witness in brain trauma cases. Dr. Pihl received his Ph.D. from Arizona State University and conducted clinical trials at Barrow Neurological Institute.

Prior to this position he served on the staff at Harvard University for 6 years. Dr. Daniel Higgins, Experimental Psychology and Psychometric Instruments

Daniel Higgins has a B.A. in Mathematics, B.A.I. in Civil Engineering from Trinity College, Dublin, an M.Sc. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an M.A. in Psychology from Harvard University. Dan received his Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from Harvard University where he studied the association between pre-fontal cognitive ability and academic performance. Dr. Higgins’ area of specialization is in neuropsychological and personality evaluation. He has been creating computerized psychometric instruments since 1995.

Robert G. Carullo, Government Affairs

Bob Carullo is responsible for integrating Trauma Aware products, programs and services with multiple, applicable Federal, State and International programs and opportunities. He also serves as Executive Director of the Strengthening the Mid-Atlantic Region for Tomorrow (SMART) Congressional initiative (www.SMARTStates.com). Bob has been working with Mr. Stanzione on a variety of weapon systems since 1989. Mr. Carullo, a US Army Aviation Combat Veteran, understands the crucial role technology plays in the survivability. He has worked with Mr. Stanzione on numerous US Navy and military programs that improve the warfighting capabilities of US and NATA forces. His military experience combined his work at the Office of Naval Research and as Executive Director of SMART has provided a wealth of knowledge in implementing solutions at federal, state, and municipal government agencies. Bob is active in Veterans Affairs Groups and was an accomplished athlete at high school and collegiate levels. He is the founder of the Drexel Wrestling Alumni Network, he remains active in athletic programs, and has first-hand experience as coach and athlete of the problems arising from TBI.


Lendell Oliver, Technology Integration

Mr. Oliver has 35 years of experience in the design and development of mechanical, electronic, electro-mechanical, and chemical processing systems. His responsibilities include program management and overview of all technical operations. He has 18 years technical and management background in database management systems and information systems design. He has developed expert systems currently in use by NASA, the US Navy, Boeing, and other organizations, including the US Special Operations Command. He established and managed a multi-million R&D engineering team and was formerly VP of Engineering for a Department of Defense contractor and Senior Engineer at GTE Corporation. He attended undergraduate and graduate schools at University of Maine and University of Maryland, respectively, majoring in Mechanical and Aerospace engineering.
